Day 65: Tub Time

A Nice, Relaxing Bath

There are those days when so much seems to go wrong, you wonder how anything managed to go right. The sort of day where you face disappointment after disappointment. The sort of day when you would promise that your parenting is in vain, and you wonder if there is a boot camp for that. The sort of day when you really don't want to get out of your PJs, let alone your bed. The sort of day when muscles you didn't realize were important 'til they started hurting. The sort of day when you want to imagine yourself on a tropical island somewhere instead of facing what you are.

Am I the only one that has those sort of days? Well, today has been that sort of a day for me.

The one saving grace that I know awaits me at the end, though, is this blissful invention called a bath. Simple, yes. Easy to get, no. The relaxing water, a few salt cubes to help the muscles, a couple of candles that happen to smell delightful, and a solidly locked door, and I have myself a little bit of heaven on earth. Yes, it really is that good. :)
