Watching a baby be born is hands down one of the most incredible experiences this life has to offer. Something marvelous happens at a birth. You get to meet a living, breathing masterpiece entering this world in its very first moments. Words fall horribly short of describing it. Well, at least my words do. ;)

It was truly an honor to be present for Ovidah's birth. Crystal did such a great job through the very difficult birthing process, and Agus was such a sweet help to her as well. Both Crystal's twin sister Jaci and her mom Sue proved excellent coaches, encouraging her on toward the finish line. I was moved to watch as Agus prayed for his bride and Sue sang songs of praise in the midst of Crystal's greatest bouts of pain (at Crystal's request :) ). It made for a triumphant entry for little Ovidah. If you were still, you knew that rejoicing was happening in places beyond our sight. I could not help but shed a few tears of marvel and joy.

My job was to capture some of the moments as the story unfolded, a beautiful story indeed. Crystal and Agus, congratulations on your precious and darling baby girl. Enjoy your photos and your slideshow. (Warning: the slideshow is a bit long :))
