One of the things I love about the type of family photography I do (lifestyle photography) is that I get to capture families being themselves, in their own environment, doing what they normally do. I also happen to like the idea that it is a fun photography experience for the kids. They get to simply be themselves. That means that no two family sessions are exactly alike, and I dig that.

This last week I had the pleasure of doing a family session with a super fun family. Mary, Adam, Malia, and Calla were a blast to hang out with. Guitars were strummed, cupcakes were baked, and dress-up was thoroughly enjoyed by two of the most adorable little girls. It is always such a pleasure to hang out with families that really enjoy being around each other.

Adam and Mary, thanks for letting me come into your home and capture some of the sweet moments that happen in your lives. I am looking forward to meeting you newest addition in a few months. Enjoy!
